Headed down to the Sungei Road flea market. One of Singapore’s oldest flea market, it is also called “Thieves Market”, as thieves would go there to sell their stolen goods in the olden days.

Many interesting stuffs are sold there, like old gramophones, toys, army boots, luggage bags, handphones, clothes and even pirated CDs. Hawkers, mostly unemployed folks, display their goods in a scattered manner by the roadside.

I didnt go there to shop in the first place, so my mind wasn’t set on buying anything. But it was a great to experience the sites and sounds of the bustling flea market.

While walking home, right as the sun was setting, a bit of rain started and this wonderful rainbow popped out of nowhere.

Beautiful clear blue waters, lush green islands dotting the horizon, along the beach there is a broken wood-planked pier and coconut trees. Clean beaches of powdery white sand that promises an amazingly spectacular view.

I took a stroll to Singapore Botanic Gardens during Hari Raya Puasa holiday.

The weather that day seems threatening, it was drizzling when I reached the place. had a nice walk across the Garden, from Tanglin Gate to Bukit Timah …. and found some interesting sites.
